Both designed, and worn, by the great lady herself this cardigan sells out so quickly every time it goes on sale and is normally on pre-order only.
I managed to get a perfectly half moon manicured mitt on two of them. I bought both the coral pink and the red – might as well take advantage of the free international shipping over $300 AUS!
As soon as the cardigans had been shipped they arrived via Fedex very quickly and came impeccably packaged in a gorgeous Dita box!
The quality on the cardigans is second to none.
The knit is very fine and smooth giving a fabulous silhouette, but the real selling point is the finishing touches; the collar and cuffs are edged in ruffled ribbon, the buttons are all covered in black velvet, the embroidery roses cover the front and also the back which I love and finally the black velvet ribbon at the collar which fastens into a bow above the keyhole.
I should say I went for a size 10 because I have quite an ample bosom, and it fits me perfectly with or without the keyhole buttons undone.
I cannot put into words how much I love these cardigans! They are sublime and a worthy addition to any wardrobe.
I have so far worn them for smart work functions, meals out with family, drinks with the girls and even a work trade show.
Every time I wear them I get compliments from both men and women, they make you feel so special!
I cannot wait until next Spring/Summer for the new colours! I am hoping for a deep teal with a antique ivory embroidery or maybe a cream cardigan with buttercup yellow roses?
Do you you own a Dita cardy? What do you think of it and what colours would your like to see?
