Hello there! I shot this video as I was unboxing the Glossybox UK September London edition box. Now I have had time to use the products I can give you my honest and unbiased opinion.
DR LIPP Original Nipple Balm for Lips
Okay, so the name is a little bit funky, but let’s just go with it. I wear a lot of red lipstick and my lips do get very dry sometimes. I normally use Vaseline but I gave this a shot. I was actually very surprised, the main ingredient is natural lanolin so its got no nasties in there. I used this on my lips at night after my evening routine and in the morning my lips were still shiny with product and they felt very soft. The only downside was the size of the product, it was tiny and ran out soon – I would have preferred to try it for longer.

BE A BOMBSHELL Liner Pen
In my unboxing video I was a little unsure of this product, as I have never heard of the brand. I tried it out on my eyes and was actually very surprised. I was applying it on to eyeshadow and the product went on evenly, without mixing with the eyeshadow at all. It was very smooth with good pigment and it also dried instantly, so no chance of getting that not-so-sexy imprint from wet eyeliner. I really like this and have been using it ever since I got my Glossybox.

ELIZABETH ARDEN Untold
There is no worse feeling that unboxing your monthly Glossybox of treats only to see a teeny tiny perfume vial nestled in the packaging. However, this was not one of those occasions! The sample was in a miniature of the full size bottle which was a nice touch, it came it its own packaging and it had a pretty nice fragrance. I wore this to work a couple of times and received lots of compliments about the scent; it’s not too sweet and girly. which I liked – there’s nothing worse than smelling sickly all day!

EYLURE Pre-Glued Lashes
So, what you may not know about me is that I am THE eyelash queen. I have been wearing them for years and I now make my own, I will post a tutorial on this soon. So anyway, for me to receive pre-glued eyelashes was a bit of a surprise, I didn’t even know they still made these! The glue is a kind of sticky grey stripe of a putty-like substance on the eyelashes, my first issue was that this is going to show up against my black eyeliner, and my second issue was the glue will not be strong enough. I wore these when I went out to lunch and gave the grey glue a lick of eyeliner just to ensure it was covered. So experience-wise – not so good, they just didn’t feel secure at all and I was being a bit of a rude cow and fiddling around with them at lunch. When I got home I removed the putty glue and customised them so now they are great day-lashes.

TONI&GUY Classic Shine & Gloss Serum
This product was the largest in my Glossybox and I am particularly glad of that. I normally use a lot of hairspray, mousse, setting lotion and whatever else I can get my hands on and apply to my hair, which can often leave it a little bit frizzy on the ends sometimes, especially if I have done a wet pin-curl set. I used this as a smoothing serum all over my hair just lightly before I went out and it did what it said on the tin: smoothed and added shine, it smells nice and it did do the job, also this product will last me ages as I only use a tiny amount.
Score: 4 out of 5
So all in all a pretty decent Glossybox for September – and the actual union jack box I love, some of the products I love, some are okay, but there is nothing I hate so I am giving this box a not-so-shabby 3.5 out of 5.
