Kandee Limonade Limited Edition Shoe Boots
My size: 5
So, this is my first ever blog post here on Tricky Little Corset (or TLC as I’m fondly calling it). And what better a way to start my blogging career than with some shoe lust.
If you’re anything like me, then there’s a feeling that overcomes you when you feast your eyes on a pair of shoes that you’ve just got to have – the vision goes fuzzy, heart palpitations kick in, the stomach lurches – and only a pack of wild horses could hold you back from reaching into your purse and slapping notes on the counter in a gibbering frenzy.
The words “must have” were invented for these bad boys.
And so it was thus when I feasted my eyes on the Limited Edition Kandee Limonade shoe boots.
A 4.1″ stilleto heel with a hidden platform (taking them to a whopping great 6.1″, which is pretty damn tall for a shoe), made of cream suede leather adorned with strass crystals with a silver glitter outer sole – they are simply one of life’s guilty pleasures, and when I spotted them reduced in a flash sale, I jumped at the chance to get my hands on them.
Despite the height, they’re surprisingly comfortable, with a cute little zip that fastens up the back of the heel – although, I had to spend some time walking around the house with them on to get used to the height (and I’m usually a pretty confident catwalker in a pair of 4″+ heels).
The beauty of these Kandee Limonades is their versatility – I’ve worn them with a minidress, with a long skirt, and with my black leather leggings and a Peplum top (which is what I had in mind for them when I picked them up). But really, you could wear them with anything and they wouldn’t look out of place.
More importantly, they didn’t absolutely kill my feet on the first night out with them on. I went out at 8pm and wasn’t back home until 3am – and while I was glad to take them off at the end of the night, I didn’t feel like I had been trampled by those wild horses that tried to hold me back from buying them in the first place.
I can’t praise them highly enough – they come in a cute little presentation box – each shoe has its own little dust bag to keep them protected while in storage, and mine came with a free limited edition Kandee Caramel credit card holder.
They’re beautifully made shoes – top quality and built to last, and if you’re a bit like me and fond of life’s little guilty pleasures, then you should pick yourself up a pair of the new Pink Limonade limited edition design, or hang on for the black ones that are coming soon.
